Zoe: Take Me Out girls so brave

Take Me Out - The Gossip host Zoe Hardman has admitted she'd never have the guts take part in the main show as a contestant. The presenter of Take Me Out's ITV2 spin-off show said it would be too hard getting her light switched off. She said: "I don't think I'm brave enough any more. I take my hat off to them because they go through so much. "They get their lights turned off a lot but these girls keep coming out and I don't know if I could do it." Zoe, who competed in reality show Playing It Straight in 2005, added: "I believe in the Hollywood moment where you meet someone in the rain and have an amazing kiss. That's kind of who I am." The 30-year-old, who is fronting a campaign for Funkin cocktail mixers, is single but has never fancied any of the men who appear on the show. "What we want is for the contestants' to get together so it would be weird for us to look at them in that way," she said. She also insisted there are strictly no romantic feelings between her and co-presenter Mark Wright. "It's never been like that between us. I think Mark would say he's never had a female friend who was just a friend before, so actually our relationship is totally professional and we want to keep that magic." She added: "We've got a great friendship on and off the show and we're each other's confidant in weird areas as well like dating and if we've got a problem. He's like my little brother." :: Zoe Hardman is the brand ambassador for Funkin's 'Put the Funk In Your Party' radio campaign on December 5. See www.facebook.com/funkincocktails.
