Picking the best Roku is pretty simple — and not all that expensive.
If you're even thinking about getting rid of cable, you should consider getting an over-the-air antenna and run it through an HDHomeRun box. Then it's free TV throughout your home!
TiVo ... very much still a thing! The short version is that TiVo Stream 4K is a pretty capable Android TV dongle with some special TiVo sauce baked in for a few select apps — especially if you're a Sling TV subscriber. For everyone else? It's still pretty good, and not a bad buy at $50.

YouTube is back on Amazon Fire TV! Sort of. Mostly. It's, well, not exactly complicated, but also not the video nirvana we've been awaiting. Anyway. Here's what you need to know about OFFICIALLY having YouTube TV back on Amazon Fire TV.
Which Amazon Fire TV should you get? Good question. There basically are three from which you can pick. There's the low-end Amazon Fire TV Stick, the newer Fire TV Stick 4K, and the Amazon Fire TV Cube. Which one is right for you? Well ...
The one thing Amazon Fire TV has been missing? Over-the-air TV, and a good DVR. OK, that's two things. But they're both here in the Amazon Fire TV Recast.
If you loved the Google Nest Hub, you'll love the Nest Hub MAX. It's bigger. It's better. IT'S MORE MAXER. It's the one I'd buy. (Which is good, since I just bought this one.) Seriously, though. That's, well, that's about it. It's better in most ways. The camera has a few cool tricks. It sounds louder, if a little muddy.
What's better than one new NVIDIA Shield TV? How about TWO. And one of them is shaped like a tube. On one hand what we have here is a pretty iterative update. On the other hand? It's still the only Android TV system you should even think about buying. Plus it still has GeForce Now gaming and is a great choice for cordcutters.
