Darnell and Rex have become the first people to be evicted from the Big Brother house on the night of the final after finishing fifth and fourth. Darnell - who exited the house to a mixed reaction of cheers and boos from the crowd - left the house wearing a hooded top and skirt, and swept Davina McCall off her feet as members of the crowd chanted his name. Afterwards he admitted that he had experienced some crushing mood swings while he was in the house. "I'm a little bit embarrassed," he told Davina, I mean, a 26-year-old crying all the time. I think I just need a hug or something." And he also apologised for his treatment of Sara, with whom he enjoyed a close relationship during his time in the house. "I will take responsibility. I am a man, I own up to things. I'm not perfect and I never claimed to be." The issue was never Stuart and Sara, the issue was always Darnell. Until I have love for myself, I can't expect anyone else to love me." Rex, meanwhile, received a hostile reaction when he left the house, but appeared not to care, booing back to the crowd - and showed off his arrogant side in his eviction interview. He said afterwards it was "completely surreal" to be out of the house - and laughed at footage of him winding up the other housemates. "I think if you take Big Brother too seriously then you're on the wrong show. You have to take everything with a pinch of salt." "If they weren't used to people like me coming on the show they shouldn't have come on the show. I work in a kitchen environment and I'm used to being wound up."
