Big Brother security called over housemate revolt

Big Brother had to draft in security over the weekend after housemates staged a mini revolt.

The contestants in the Channel 5 reality show were apparently feeling rebellious and decided to cause a bit of excitement for themselves by removing their microphones.

Jack McDermott was the only one who chose not to rebel by running around outside in the camera run area without a microphone, something the housemates are supposed to wear at all times to pick up on any conversation between them.

According to Digital Spy, producers were forced to get security staff to escort them back into the complex's garden, leaving contestant Nick Henderson wondering whether they would be punished for breaking the rules.

The answer, of course, was yes – housemates were ordered to pack their suitcases and hand them over to Big Brother.

Jack later entered the diary room to ask if and when they would be given their belongings back, to which the reply was: "You'll have to wait and see."

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
