Charles Venn has revealed that not everyone (on or off-screen!) is going to like his new character in Casualty, nurse Jacob Masters...

What's on TV can reveal nurse Jacob Masters is definitely going to turn heads when he races into the Holby City ED carrying his ill friend and starts demanding someone treats her!

Charles said: 'It's the Marmite situation. Some people will really like him, his confidence and bolshie, charismatic energy. Others will be irked by it! There's no grey area with Jacob Masters. You either like him or you don't!'

Best known for his role as Ray Dixon in EastEnders (2012–13) Charles - known then as Chucky - starred as Bianca Butcher's ex boyfriend and father to her son, Morgan.

He's also appeared in trashy British telly classics Dream Team and Footballers wives, and Hollywood blockbuster The Bourne Ultimatum.
