Ex-footballer Vinnie Jones has been offered $1m - around £600,000 - to appear alongside Paul Gascoigne on Celebrity Big Brother, say reports. According to The Sun the former Wimbledon player - who now has a Hollywood film career - has been contacted by show producers with an offer to "keep an eye" on Gascoigne, who is also rumoured to be going into the house. And the paper reports that Jones will sign up for the show on Thursday. "He's been offered a massive chunk of cash," a friend told the paper. "He was planning to take January off - but $1million for three weeks' work was difficult to turn down. "It doesn't even sound like work to Vinnie if it means a chance of three weeks with Gazza. They go way back and still keep in touch." Gascoigne, meanwhile, has reportedly undergone a series of consultations with a psychologist to ensure he can cope with the pressures of Celebrity Big Brother. The show begins on Channel 4 on Sunday January 3, with Hollywood star Pamela Anderson, actress Stephanie Beacham, rapper MC Hammer and Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss among others tipped to be taking part.
