Downton Abbey causes problems in Matt Damon's bedroom

Hollywood star Matt Damon says that he and his wife are massive Downton Abbey fans, but the hit ITV show is causing problems in the bedroom.

Matt makes the confession on tonight's Graham Norton Show, where he'll be appearing alongside Bill Murray, Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville and singer Paloma Faith.

"My wife is an addict and it's a problem," says Matt, who has starred in films such as Good Will Hunting and The Departed. "We were supposed to watch Downton Abbey together and I came to bed one night and she said, 'I've just watched six of them - I'll tell you what happened!'"

"She wanted to watch the seventh and didn't want to go back to the beginning, so she's done the whole thing and I'm on my own!"

The Graham Norton Show screens at 10.35pm on BBC1
