Phwoar! Downton’s Dan Stevens makes a ‘big physical transformation’ for film role (VIDEO)

From Downton darling Matthew Crawley whose passing is still mourned by fans, to a lean, mean Hollywood star…

Dan Stevens is certainly causing a stir with his new film role as mysterious, psychopathic David in The Guest, in cinemas now.

But it’s not all the killing that’s got audiences talking…it’s Dan’s killer six-pack, revealed in the movie’s shower scene, which you can watch below.

“The movie has been a big, physical transformation for me and it has been quite funny watching the reactions to my shower scene,” says Dan. “It’s funny-sexy, if that’s a thing. My character is a lovable psychopath who makes time for romance.”

So are his Downton Abbey days far behind him now?

“The Downton recognition is getting less,” Dan says. “My beard helps me sneak by the Matthew mourners.”
