EastEnders fans praise soap bosses for ‘BEST moment of the year’

Do you agree?

Drama has been building in Albert Square for months but last night things finally came to a head as James Willmott-Brown’s devious plan was revealed – to EastEnders fans’ huge delight.

Willmot-Brown is determined to take over the Square, starting with the Queen Vic. Friday night’s episode saw him arrive at the iconic pub to evict Mick and Linda Carter.

The couple were shocked to learn the discount Willmott-Brown’s daughter Fi had offered them on pub repair costs was a lie, meaning they’d failed to raise enough cash to keep their home.

Unsurprisingly things ended on a huge cliff-hanger with fans taking to social media to praise EastEnders for the ‘best moment of the year’.

‘Omg #EastEnders AMAZING!’ one fan wrote, while another added: ‘Good to see #EastEnders back on track just in time for Christmas!’ A third even went as far to say: ‘That’s probably the best duff duff we’ve had all year tbh #EastEnders.’

The surprises didn’t end with Willmott-Brown taking control of the Vic: Carmel Kazemi was left heartbroken when ‘boyfriend’ Max Branning passionately kissed Fi right in front of her, and Luke Browning had fans wondering whether or not he’d killed Ben Mitchell during a vicious attack at the Arches.

Thankfully it’s been confirmed things will pick up exactly where they left off on Monday’s episode and we can’t wait!
