Meanwhile, as Spector’s legal team goes all-out to assess the evidence against him and also look into Stella’s behaviour during the case, the equally dogged Anderson is delighted when Stella says he and Ferrington can head to London to look into the new discoveries that have been made.

Stella herself has a proper talk with Dr Larson (Wallander’s Krister Henriksson) about Spector, but it becomes clear that they each have a very different view of the Belfast Strangler.
