In November, Billy Connolly turns 75. To mark his birthday, BBC Scotland commissioned three Scottish artists – John Byrne, Jack Vettriano and Rachel Maclean – to create portraits of the much-loved comedian.

This intimate documentary (first shown on BBC1 Scotland in June) shows Billy in conversation with each artist and, as they capture his likeness for posterity, he talks about his 50-year career, from his early days as a musician to current status as national treasure.
