EastEnders spoilers: Kush Kazemi has a big decision to make
Kush is torn over going to Dubai, Carmel considers taking her own life but has a change of heart, Jean has an unwelcome surprise for Kat.
Carmel is still in a very bad way following Shakil’s shock death. Her friends and family get seriously concerned about her state of mind when she becomes manic about finding Shakil’s missing watch. When Darius and Umar make it clear to Kush that it’s all still on track for him to move to Dubai he is stunned. He doesn’t think he can leave Carmel on her own after what’s happened.
Umar is determined to get Kush to Dubai and claims to Carmel that Kush is still set on going, leaving her devastated. At home, she takes drastic measures and makes an attempt on her own life… But she’s suddenly given the will to go on when she unexpectedly finds Shakil’s missing watch. Panicking, she tries to reverse what she’s done. When Kush turns up he realises that Carmel has tried to take her own life and he calls an ambulance. Is she in danger?
Jean finds an old photograph of Kat, Alfie in the kids and is left wistful. Sad that Kat isn’t around her children anymore, she comes up with a plan to reunite them. Mo and Stacey think it’s a bad idea to interfere but Jean wants to raise money to buy Kat a ticket to Spain. Jean is chuffed when she relays the news to Kat, who has to cover her worries. A rattled Kat lies that she’s happy to go.
Also, Tiff wonders why Bernadette is behaving oddly.
