EastEnders Chantelle Atkins is faced with a tricky dilemma, Ian Beale learns some devastating news, and Jean Slater learns something concerning.

Chantelle Atkins in EastEnders hasn’t let the nerves get the better of her and to her delight she’s made it to the final two candidates in the hairdressing competition. When a controlling Gray Atkins sends her text after text, Chantelle can’t deal with the stress and quits the competition to tend to her husband. Back at home, Chantelle walks in to find Gray in a rage, demanding to know why she’s late for the romantic meal he organised. When an upset Chantelle can’t get him to calm down he attacks her…

Ian Beale is desperate to help his son Bobby Beale, knowing how much he’s hurting. But he feels like he doesn’t know him any more. When Max Branning offers Ian some advice, he shoots him down, determined not to take tips from his arch rival. Ian is left stunned when Max reveals that Bobby has confided in him and he’s agreed to let him stay with him!

Jean Slater is chuffed after her cancer operation when Kat Moon manages to get her absent daughter Stacey Fowler on the phone. When Jean’s friend Daniel Cook turns up, Kat quickly gets the phone back from Jean to stop any snooping. Daniel reveals that he has some news for Jean and it’s not good…
