EastEnders spoilers: Gray Atkins ups his control over Chantelle
Gray Atkins threatens wife Chantelle Atkins, Martin Fowler makes a confession to Kush Kazemi, and Louise Mitchell devastates mum Lisa Fowler.
Chantelle Atkins gets back in the salon in Monday’s episode of EastEnders (8pm, see TV Guide for full listings). When Denise asks her to come in and cover she’s happy to be back at work. In the Square, Chantelle’s controlling husband Gray Atkins chases a girl who stole from Whitney Dean’s stall and he is fuming when he spots Chantelle in the salon.
Later, Chantelle heads to The Vic only to find everyone gathered there with Gray. She’s taken aback as he announces their news, clearly furious with her for lying about what she’s been up to.
Martin Fowler is feeling the strain working for gangster-in-the-making Ben Mitchell. Unable to deal with the stress, he confides in his mate Kush Kazemi. After learning the truth, Kush is horrified and insists that they have word with Ben. But when Ben refuses to back down over his demands, Martin comes up with a plan. What has he got in mind?
Louise Mitchell and boyfriend Keanu Taylor are shocked when Louise’s mum Lisa Fowler reveals she wants them all to move to Portugal with Mel Owen. A pregnant Louise is talked round by Lisa but Keanu isn’t so sure. In a bid to persuade Keanu, she tells him that she owes it to Mel, who has always been a second mum to her. Lisa overhears Louise’s words and feels devastated that Louise seems to care more about Mel than her.
Also, Jean Slater gets a video message from friend Daniel Cook, who urges her to seize the day but will things end in disaster?
EastEnders continues on BBC1 on Tuesday at 7.30 pm.
