EastEnders spoilers: Mel Owen makes a confession to Ian!

Mel takes her worries about Hunter to Ian, Keanu can't keep away from Sharon, and Ruby makes a special effort for a dinner date with Jay.

Mel is at a loss at what to do about Hunter and wants some advice from Ian. As per usual, Ian gets the wrong end of the stick and thinks that their meet up is a date!

When Mel arrives, she hides that she’s asking about Hunter. But she soon puts her foot in it with Ian when she mentions something about Bobby. Insulted, Ian storms off. Later, Mel apologises to Ian for her unthinking words and Ian opens up to her about what happened with Bobby. Mel is given food for thought about her son.

EastEnders Keanu Taylor and Sharon Mitchell

Keanu comes to see Sharon

Keanu is moping around the house and Karen guesses that he’s still pining after Sharon. An irritated Keanu insists to his mum that things are over between them for good.

After some advice from Karen, Keanu visits Sharon. When Phil later makes a joke about grandchildren, Keanu has a mini panic, but Phil was just winding him up. Phil lets Keanu leave early to spend some time with Louise.

EastEnders Jay Mitchell Ruby Allen

Jay and Ruby are having fun on their date.

Ruby has a dinner date with Jay and plans to cook for him. When Honey gives her a recipe she ends up feeling overwhelmed, sure she won’t be able to pull it off. Ruby gives Stacey a call to ask for her help. When Jay arrives he’s touched by the effort that Ruby has gone to.
