EastEnders spoilers: Shirley Carter causes drama for Linda Carter
Shirley Carter causes stress for an anxious Linda Carter, Sharon Mitchell confronts a vengeful Mel Owen and Lola Pearce is concerned about Jay Mitchell.
Linda Carter is at odds with mother-in-law Shirley Carter as she tries to keep the peace in Tuesday’s episode of EastEnders (7.30 pm, see TV Guide for full listings). When Tina Carter brings up Shirley’s run in with local mum Shelley, Linda is reluctant to confront the issue.
Even though Shelley was cruel about Linda’s young son Ollie Carter, Linda would rather keep her and the other mums on side. Linda arranges a night out at the E20 but when she realises Shirley will be there, too, she panics. Although Tina does her best to keep Shirley away from the club for Linda’s sake, Shirley turns up and runs straight into Shelley. Furious to see her again, Shirley doesn’t hold back. Will Linda intervene or will she see sense?
Mel Owen is enjoying winding up Keanu Taylor about his bombshell secret. It’s his fiancee Louise Mitchell’s birthday and Mel goes all out to give Louise a present she’ll remember. Louise’s stepmum Sharon Mitchell is not happy about Mel’s grand gesture and warns Louise’s mum Lisa Fowler that Mel might be playing power games. At her wits end with Mel’s manipulation, Sharon confronts her. But she’s horrified when she realises how determined Mel is to get revenge.
Lola Pearce is nervous on the day of Terry Bates’ funeral, concerned that funeral director Jay Mitchell will try to take revenge for Terry’s involvement in his dad Jase Dyer’s death. Lola turns to Ben Mitchell yet again to help her make Jay see sense and Ben takes matters into his own hands…
Also, Tiffany Butcher plans to elope with Keegan Baker to Scotland, Iqra Ahmed gets evidence against Ian Beale in a bid to get revenge.
EastEnders continues on BBC1 on Thursday at 7.30 pm
