In what traditionally forms the opener for the Premier League, this season's Community Shield is a replica of last season's FA Cup final, in which Chelsea took on Arsenal, the Gunners winning 2-1.

After splashing the cash in the transfer window, both teams have bolstered their numbers – Chelsea shelling out for Real Madrid striker Álvaro Morata, and Arsenal going all out to pick up Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette, also a forward.

The main man for Chelsea this season, though, may be Cesc Fàbregas, with Blues boss Antonio Conte wanting him to be an integral part of his team.
