Liverpool are hot on the heels of Premier League leaders Chelsea, and tonight’s game may see them claw back points from the team sitting at the top as they host the west Londoners (kick-off 8.00pm).

It will be a tough match, especially given that both teams like to press opponents high and hard – a method particularly gruelling on the players. The Red half of Merseyside beat Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge back on 16 September, and will be looking to do the double over their title rivals, aided and abetted by the return of Philippe Coutinho.

He was sorely missed while injured, as his intelligence and guile are crucial at the top of the pitch. Will he shape the outcome, or will Chelsea have the last laugh?
