DI Helen Weeks (MyAnna Buring) returns, now heavily pregnant, in this excellent drama’s second, nailbiting two-parter.

The story has moved on five months and the action now centres on Helen's usual turf of Manchester, where a shocking tragedy has shattered her life just as things were on the up for her and boyfriend Paul.

When a colleague hints that Paul has been hiding something, Helen goes on a dangerous mission to find out what, eventually coming up against a notorious organised-crime kingpin (a brilliantly sinister Tim McInnerney).

Meanwhile, a young dad trying to support his family gets into big trouble as he fumbles his way onto the local gang scene…
