Jack's replacement causes a stir

Following Jack's shock departure, Rachel Mason (played by former Coronation Street actress Eva Pope) is the newly appointed head teacher of Waterloo Road. Eddie's gutted that Jack's gone and the tension soon grows between him and Rachel when she reveals her plans to turn the school into a Business Enterprise College. And she doesn't waste time rubbing other members of staff up the wrong way either. When she discovers that Grantly Budgen has been using the school's computers for online gambling, she warns him to shape up - or ship out! Then she makes it clear to Steph that she's watching her every move... Meanwhile, Chlo is flat-sharing with Lucy and her boyfriend Shaun. When she learns that she'll be expected to do some pretty unsavoury things to get the rent money, Chlo calls Tom who comes to save her.
