There’s more drama in this one-off wildlife documentary than there is in an entire series of Game of Thrones!

It follows the story of gelada baboon Braveheart, who’s the undisputed king of his group in Ethiopa’s Simien Mountains – he’s kept the peace, fought off predators and has exclusive mating rights with six females – but at the grand old age of 12, he’s getting on and if his ‘harem’ suddenly decide he’s not up to the job of protecting them and their 12 babies, or expanding the brood, they will blithely give him the old heave-ho.

With plenty of other males willing to take his place, Braveheart has an epic fight on his hands…
