A chatty former southern belle and a retired literature professor, the long-married couple hit the road in their ancient camper van (the title Leisure Seeker) on a trip from Boston to Key West in Florida - much to the dismay of their grown-up son and daughter (Christian McKay and Janel Moloney).
On the way, the film veers close to poor taste - she's cancer-stricken, he's addled with Alzheimer's - and Italian director Paolo Virzi does let scenes drift on, but the stars keep things on course to the emotional close.
