You really will believe that resilient young hero Pi (Suraj Sharma) is stranded on a lifeboat along with a tiger. The film's marvellous sequences include a mirror-like sea reflecting golden clouds, a swarm of flying fish, an island bristling with meerkats and a whale leaping out of the water. This not to be missed epic deservedly won Oscars for direction, cinematography, effects and score.
