Stella gets what she wants

Stella shows off her engagement ring to Phil but she's disappointed when Phil makes it clear that Ben will be coming on holiday with them. Stella is determined to have Phil to herself and she insists that Ben thinks up a reason not to go. A frightened Ben graffitis the school toilets in desperation but he's devastated nevertheless when Phil tells him he's grounded and won't be coming away. Shirley and Pat have spent night in the cells and Pat is worried when Shirley reveals that she's determined to ruin Kevin and Denise's happiness. When the pair are released, Shirley asks Kevin for a drink to remember Jimbo and she's furious when Pat turns up instead and tells her that Kevin won't be coming. As Kevin heads off to his wedding, Shirley hitches a lift with Phil and Stella to the registry office and prepares to stop the ceremony... Stacey is back from holiday and she's pleasantly surprised when Max sneaks round to the Slater's to see her. Max tells Stacey that he went to the airport to pick her up but Charlie beat him to it.
