Patsy Kensit is to explore her family's criminal past in the BBC One series Who Do You Think You Are? The actress, 40, whose late father was an associate of the notorious Kray twins, joins Tory mayoral candidate Boris Johnson, model Jodie Kidd, Jerry Springer, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Esther Rantzen on the BBC genealogy show. href="/primetime/holby_city">Holby City star Patsy was brought up with her elder brother on a council estate in Hounslow, west London. Her father was known to the local police as Jimmy the Dip and Reggie Kray was her brother's godfather. Patsy has spoken in the past of an early childhood memory of her father and his associates going through their spoils in the sitting room. "There were times when the curtains were closed, and people would come round," she has said. TV host Jerry, whose Jewish parents escaped to London from Nazi Germany just three days before the outbreak of the Second World War, sets out on a painful journey that takes him from New York to Germany. Interior designer Llewelyn-Bowen delves into his seafaring roots while broadcaster Rantzen investigates a 'mystery and tales of a black sheep in the family that [have] always intrigued her'.
