TV newbie James Fletcher to play Trevor Royle's son in Hollyoaks

Hollyoaks is welcoming TV newcomer James Fletcher to the role of Trevor Royle's son Dylan.

Trevor's long-lost son arrives in the village where he will enrol at school and spend more time with his dad, but as Dylan is said to be harbouring secrets there will be questions surrounding his real identity.

James told the Daily Star: "Dylan has come to Hollyoaks to find something that's been missing from his life.

"He hopes he'll find what he's looking for, but it could be a struggle to get what he wants if people keep standing in his way.

"Deep down Dylan is a good kid who just wants to find his place in the world, but if you cross him he'll make you pay for it. He has secrets but if I told you, they wouldn't be secrets any more, would they?"

Dylan's first scenes are set to screen on Hollyoaks in January, kicking off the new year with more drama for the villagers.
