The final round of The Voice UK's blind auditions brought with it a familiar face, in the shape of 90s chart star Angie Brown.
The 50-year-old, who previously found fame as the powerhouse vocalist on the 1992 Bizarre Inc hit I'm Gonna Get You, was among the last batch of hopefuls aiming to fill the coaches' teams ahead of the battle rounds.
However, despite wowing the judges with a performance of that very song - showing she was still in fine form when it came to singing - she failed to progress to the battle rounds, with places at a premium as the teams filled up.
And the coaches were amazed when they realised who she was, with Kylie Minogue telling her: "It was a little while ago and I was in the clubs dancing to it weekend after weekend after weekend."
Meanwhile will.i.am added: "I have always loved that song and I never thought I would meet the person who sung it," and told her: "I only didn't turn round because of the stage we are at.
"We could all be wrong," he admitted. "You could be the one that got away."
Saturday's show saw the competition reach new heights as the coaches completed their teams ahead of the knockout stages which begin next weekend.
Tom Jones was the first to complete his team, picking up two more men to balance out his female-dominated team - singer and musician Gary Poole and soulful performer Kenny Thompson.
Kylie Minogue completed her team with South African singer Nomakhosi, while Ricky Wilson added Essex teenager Luciee Marie Closier and rocker Jamie Lovatt.
Will once again became the final coach to complete his team - for the third series running - adding ambulance controller Tom Barnwell to his team at the start of the show, and medical worker Cherri Prince, who was the final auditionee, at the end.
The battle rounds, which will see the coaches whittle down their teams - and possibly steal competitors from the others - will kick off on The Voice UK next Saturday night.
