Flesh for Frankenstein in 3D, Channel 4, 12.40am
What’s better than sex, gore, rubber bat attacks and Joe Dallesandro? Well, all the above in glorious 3D. As part of Channel 4’s week-long experiment bringing 3D to our TV screens, there’s a chance to catch Andy Warhol’s Flesh for Frankenstein tonight and Friday the 13th: Part III on Friday 20 November at 10pm.
Directed by Factory favourite Paul Morrissey, the camp-tastic comedy horror stars Udo Keir as the mad scientist hell-bent on recreating the human race – complete with the perfect Serbian nose. That other Factory find, Joe Dallesandro co-stars as the randy farmhand whose best friend loses his head to the Baron’s experiments.
Get those special glasses on now and watch those internal organs ooze into your lap. Brilliant!
