Ant McPartlin also got in on the action and donned a pair of heels and one of Kylie’s iconic costumes
Ant and Dec made sure the return of Saturday Night Takeaway was as hilarious as everyone had hoped for - thanks to a rather special performance from the duo.
Viewers were left ‘howling’ at their TV’s after the Geordie duo put on an unforgettable ‘End of the Show’ show, performing alongside pop princess Kylie Minogue.
The Australian singer sang a medley of her greatest hits - but while she crooned in a sexy gold dress, it was down to the boys to recreate some of her most iconic looks.
Ant looked the part in a white hooded-jumpsuit from Kylie’s I Can't Get You Out Of My Head video, and managed to perform her signature moves in heels.
But it was Dec who really stole the show, gyrating along a bar top in a pair of tiny gold hotpants, reviving Kylie's gold ensemble from her Spinning Around video.
Viewers lapped up the hilarious spoof, with many in tears of laughter over the duo’s antics.
One fan tweeted: ‘Dec dressed as Kylie Minogue tonight in gold hotpants! Brilliant! #SaturdayNightTakeaway’.
Another said: ‘Brilliant Hahaaaaa #Endoftheshowshow hilarious love it.’
A third added: ‘Dec in the gold hotpants has made my life.’
While a fourth said: ‘Literally howling at the TV’.
And another added: ‘This is f***ing brilliant!! Ant's costume changes were impressive! But Dec in hot pants?! Oh my word. Funniest thing all night. Well done @antanddec.’
Other fans commented on what a good sport Kylie was for taking part in the performance with the two hosts.
One said: 'Face sore with laughing!! Fantastic show & what a good sport Kylie was.'
Saturday night's opening show marked Ant's return to the show for the first time since he went to rehab to beat an addiction to prescription drugs and battle depression last year.
Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway returns next Saturday at 7pm.
