The Apprentice winner Lee McQueen has started his first full week of work after falling ill last week. Meanwhile, Dragon's Den judge Duncan Bannatyne says Lee shouldn't have won the job. The winner of The Apprentice missed his start date with boss Sir Alan Sugar due to sickness. Lee McQueen, 30, failed to start his new job because he was suffering from a 'flu-like virus', a spokesman for Sir Alan said. He confirmed that Lee made it into the office on Friday and is back in on Monday. "He had a few meetings during June when he wasn't officially employed and he wants to hit the ground running," the spokesman said. Meanwhile, multi-millionaire Bannatyne said he was disgusted that Sir Alan gave Lee the job after he was exposed as a liar on his CV, when he claimed to have been to university for two years when it was actually only four months. Bannatyne told the Daily Mirror: 'I'm so angry that Alan Sugar sent that message out to the country. If you want a job, kids, lie on your CV. I'm disgusted. Claire [Young] should have won. She's absolutely fantastic." The winner of the BBC's reality show The Apprentice, in which Sir Alan selects one candidate for a £100,000-a-year job, was hired to launch a digital advertising product.
