Arg returns to The Only Way Is Essex!

Look out for a leaner, fitter James Argent when he makes his much-anticipated return to The Only Way Is Essex on Sunday night.

The 27-year-old star, better known as Arg, was suspended from the show at the end of last year amid rumours of alleged drug use and that his drinking had got out of control. It was also reported that the show’s bosses were fed up with his disruptive behaviour and poor timekeeping.

After a spell in rehab, Arg has cleaned up his act and earlier this week was seen filming scenes with Jess and Carol Wright. He looked the picture of health while exercising with the mother and daughter.

The episode also sees Arg reunited with his on/off girlfriend Lydia Bright, who bursts into tears as soon as she sees him! Arg has made no secret of the fact that he plans to win back Lydia, but last week she threw a spanner in the works when she revealed that she had moved on with a fella she met in Thailand and who sent her a bunch of 50 roses for Valentine’s Day!

Also in Sunday night’s episode, Chloe has her first encounter with Lauren after giving her on/off pal the swerve in recent weeks, Danielle’s peeved when Lockie arranges a doubles match of badminton with Ferne and Charlie, and Jess confronts Ricky about some comments he made about her on social media.
