Friday night will see three MasterChef cooks battling it out to be crowned the winner.

Simon Wood, Emma Spitzer and Tony Rodd will be cooking their hearts out in the hopes of winning the show.

They’ve faced seven weeks of tough challenges, all under the watchful eyes of judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.

Thursday night saw them take on the terrifying Chef’s Table challenge, which involved cooking one of three courses on a menu set up by Italian chef, Massimo Bottura.

Their guests at the renowned Chef’s Table were no easy crowd either, comprising of Michelin-starred chefs Marcus Wareing, Daniel Clifford, Andrew Fairlie, Anthony Demetre and Italian chef Francesco Mazzei.

Emma cooked the starter, Tony the main course and Simon served up dessert.

While definitely a tense episode, all three finalists performed well, making the run-up to tonight’s final even more exciting.

Tony said: “My dream is to make a comfortable living doing something that I love, and hopefully give people a great memory and experience along the way.”
