Back to the beach! Beverly Hills 90210 reboot is happening!

Beverly Hills 90210

Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley and Ian "Sharknado" Ziering and Brian Austin Green have signed-up for revival of Beverly Hills 90210.

As previously hinted at by stars Jennie Garth (Kelly) and Tori Spelling (Donna), a revival of long-running teen drama, Beverly Hills 90210 is in development.

Original cast members including Jason Priestley (Brandon), Ian Ziering (Steve), Brian Austin Green (David) and Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea) have all signed-up for the new series. But no word yet whether Shannen Doherty will reprise her role as catty Brenda Walsh, while Luke Perry (Dylan) is now starring on another hit teen drama, Riverdale.

Beverly Hills 90210, which followed the lives and loves of a bunch of rich teens through High School and beyond ran for a decade between 1990 to 2000. It led to a sexy over-the-top spin-off series, Melrose Place.

A reboot 90210 ran for five seasons, following a new bunch of rich teenagers and featured guest appearances from several original cast members. Plus there was The Unauthorized Beverly Hills 90210 Story, which revealed lots of behind-the-scenes gossip (and backstage bust-ups!).

Earlier this year, Jennie Garth who played Kelly Taylor in the original series says she still enjoys watching old episodes.

"If it's on, I will definitely leave it on and sit down and get sucked back into it. I don't always remember that particular moment in time. So it's as if I'm watching someone else. But the show's so classic you have to stop and watch it."

Meawhile, Jennie's teenage daughter Lola Ray Facinelli said it is "cute and weird" seeing her mum on TV and admits it can be embarassing if there are kissing scenes involved!

No news yet on when the revival of 90210 will air.
