Broadchurch’s US remake, Gracepoint, has reportedly been cancelled, following poor ratings.

The American version of the BBC drama, starring David Tennant and Anna Gunn, has failed to live up to the success of its predecessor and looks unlikely to be renewed for a second series, reports Entertainment Weekly.
According to the publication, last week’s finale delivered four million viewers.

Gracepoint has always been billed as a 'limited series' so a second season wasn’t assured, but it was thought that Fox – the US studio – would renew the show if it had been a success.

Meanwhile, the second series of Broadchurch, starring David and Olivia Colman, will return to UK screens on January 5.
