Former Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey has just started filming her new role for BBC1 medical drama Casualty.

The actress, who was also Strictly Come Dancing runner-up in 2011, will play Honey Wright, the new tea lady in the Emergency Department.

As well as serving cuppas, Honey has plenty of other talents and viewers will see her providing tarot reading to staff and patients... And she's also hiding a big secret!

Honey arrives on our screens in October and will be a regular recurring character. This episode also sees the return of Michael Stevenson, reprising his role as paramedic Iain Dean.

Casualty executive Producer Oliver Kent said: "I'm delighted that Chelsee has agreed to bring her unique combination of bounce and style to the Emergency Department. Honey Wright is like no other character we've ever featured in Casualty and I can't wait for the audience to see her and her tea trolley in action."

TV Content Director on TV Times, What's On TV and TV & Satellite Week

I'm a huge fan of television so I really have found the perfect job, as I've been writing about TV shows, films and interviewing major television, film and sports stars for over 25 years. I'm currently TV Content Director on What's On TV, TV Times, TV and Satellite Week magazines plus Whattowatch.com. I previously worked on Woman and Woman's Own in the 1990s. Outside of work I swim every morning, support Charlton Athletic football club and get nostalgic about TV shows Cagney & Lacey, I Claudius, Dallas and Tenko. I'm totally on top of everything good coming up too.
