Doc Martin gets US makeover by Friends creator

Doc Martin is set for a US makeover by Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman.

The UK comedy drama stars Martin Clunes as a grumpy London GP who relocates to a seaside town he visited as a child and first screened in 2004 on ITV.

Now, it is being adapted for an American audience by Marta with Ben Silverman, reports Deadline (opens in new tab).
