Ex Casualty star Claire Goose heads cast of new ITV thriller Undeniable

Former Casualty star Claire Goose heads the cast of ITV’s new two-part thriller Undeniable.

Currently being filmed in Dublin and Wicklow, Undeniable also stars Spooks’ Peter Firth, Pippa Haywood (Prisoners’ Wives, Green Wing), Felix Scott (Doc Martin) and Christine Bottomley (The Street).

Claire, who also starred in The Bill and Mount Pleasant, plays Jane Fielding, a woman who is convinced she recognises her mother’s killer 23 years after her death.

Jane, who was just seven when she witnessed her mother’s murder, is certain she’s got the right man. But neither her family nor the police believe her because it isn’t the first time she’s wrongly accused someone of the murder.

Claire became a household name as feisty but loveable nurse Tina Seabrook when she joined Casualty in 1997. During her time on the hospital drama Tina was raped by a patient’s husband and later went on to discover best friend Chloe and boyfriend Sean were having an affair. Now 38, she left the show in 2000 when Tina left Holby and followed Sean to Australia.

Undeniable is written by Chris Lang (A Mother’s Son, The Reckoning) and directed by John Strickland (Mr Selfridge, Whitechapel).
