And she’s starring alongside a huge British actress…

Candice Brown has come a long way since winning the Great British Bake Off in 2016, from competing in Dancing On Ice to opening her own pub.

But now, the 34-year-old appears to be taking huge strides in her career as she is reportedly making a move to the big screen.

Renowned British actress Celia Imrie, who has starred in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Calendar Girls, let slip that Candice will be starring in a film with her.

"It's a bit of a secret, but I'm going to be in a film with her [Candice]," the 66-year-old revealed on the Chris Evans Virgin Breakfast Show on Friday.

After teasing the upcoming venture, Celia remained tight lipped about further details on the project.

She added: "I can't say any more. I better not say anything else."

With so few details given, we’ll have to wait patiently to see Candice’s starring role come to life.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Candice revealed that she and her family bought an ‘incredible’ pub in Eversholt called The Green Man.

‘I’ve just bought a pub, I want to do the best Sunday lunches, and comforting, warming and hearty food,’ she told Bang Showbiz.

‘I’m an ambassador for Love British Food, so I work with the farmers to promote that seasonal and local produce is when food is at its best.

It’s called The Green Man in Eversholt, I’m hoping it will be open in mid-February, it’s so exciting. I was brought up in pubs with my brother and I want this to be a real family affair.’

Candice is also hoping to channel her inner Peggy Mitchell.

She added: ‘I would love to be able to go, “Get out of my pub!” I’m dying to do that, but it won’t be that sort of pub, I think.’
