Great British Bake Off star Ruby Tandoh reveals she's gay and takes aim at 'misogynists'
Former Great British Bake Off finalist Ruby Tandoh has come out as gay and said the joke is on the “misogynists” who accused her of flirting with the show’s judge Paul Hollywood to get ahead.
Hollywood was forced to deny claims he gave the then 21-year-old former model preferential treatment because of her looks when she made it to the 2013 final of the hit BBC baking show.
Tandoh made her announcement by posting a link to the Diana Ross hit I’m Coming Out on Twitter.

Hollywood spoke out during the series after fans pointed to an on-screen flirtation between the pair and said the suggestion that Tandoh’s appearance had improved her chances on the show was 'rubbish'.
