Hairy Biker Dave Myers: I'll keep dancing!

Strictly star Dave Myers has vowed to continue dancing despite his frequently inept footwork on the BBC1 ballroom dance series.

The Hairy Biker, who memorably dragged his professional partner Karen Hauer across the dancefloor, told TV Times that he enjoyed the experience too much to stop.

"I took it seriously and did the best I could," he says. "It's true that I was dancing in lumps, but I worked hard and, though they may have been out of time, I never missed a step.

"I intend to carry on because I think my wife, Lili, would like to learn, too."

But he says his fellow Hair Biker, Si King - who returns with Dave for a new BBC2 series, The Hairy Bikers' Asian Adventure, next month - won't be going on Strictly.

"Si's dead against it," he explains. "But funnily, if we go out, he's the one up dancing!"
