Harry Hill will be back on the box next year for a third series of his hit ITV show, Harry Hill’s Alien Fun Capsule.

The 54-year-old star, whose long running TV Burp series was on telly for over a decade, will once again preside over two teams of celebrities tasked with saving planet earth from alien invasion.

Guests coming up in the new run include Coronation Street star Bill Roache, Charlie Dimmick, Tom Courtenay, Pam St Clement, Chelsea Healey, Stephanie Beacham, and The Krankies.

Harry Hill said: “I’m thrilled to be spending another seven weeks protecting the earth from alien invasion but can’t help feeling that this does leave us vulnerable for the other 45 weeks of the year.”

The hugely popular star has previously invited on the show the likes of Kathy Burke, Des O’Connor, Lorraine Kelly and Josh Widdicombe.

Since the end of TV Burp, Harry has also branched out into acting, starring in two Professor Branestawm adventures on the BBC.

At the time, Harry spoke to us about the challenges of acting, saying: “I really struggle to learn lines. I never had to learn them for TV Burp because they were always on the autocue."

Harry Hill’s Alien Faun Capsule will be shown next year on ITV - an exact date is still to be announced.
