Three 1930s Alfred Hitchcock land on High Definition this month in the UK, courtesy of Network Distributing as part of The British Film collection.

First up, there’s the comical thriller The Lady Vanishes starring Margaret Lockwood, Michael Redgrave, Paul Lukas and Dame May Whitty. This is available for pre-order now, and is due out on January 19.

Young and Innocent

Then, Young and Innocent a gripping pre-war thriller that would showcase Hitchcock's undeniable talent for suspense. Starring Derrick de Marney and Robert Tisdall, as a man who turns into a fugitive when he finds the body of a young woman on a beach. Available 19 January.

The Man Who Knew Too Much

And finally, The Man Who Knew Too Much with Nova Pilbeam, Peter Lorre, Leslie Banks and Edna Best. Regarded as one of the most successful and critically acclaimed British Hitchcock titles, a man and his wife receive a clue to an assassination plot, but they learn their daughter has been kidnapped to keep their silence.
