Jane Seymour became the seventh contestant to be eliminated from Dancing With The Stars on Tuesday night. The 56-year-old British actress, whose dancing experience was marred by her mother's death, was the oldest female competitor in the hit US dance contest and accepted her fate tearfully. "I've had a ball. It was so worth doing. I think we had an incredible run," she told People.com. Jane added that she was pleased that she could live out her childhood dream. "It has put the sparkle back on others' faces. That's how I feel we've won. This is entertainment, but I took it seriously in terms of learning the dancing and the techniques," she said. The Wedding Crashers actress gave her younger rivals a run for their money throughout the competition by not acting or looking her age. "Well, that's the by-product," Jane said of her newly toned figure. Jane certainly hasn't had an easy ride during her stint on the show. First her mother died, then her house was threatened by the California wildfires and she was forced to pull out of last week's results show after suffered a bout of food poisoning. But she remained upbeat and thanked her dance partner Tony Dovolani for a memorable experience. "It's been great. Tony is incredible talented and he's class. He showed me in my best light." While Jane said her goodbyes, Britain had a strong performance by Mel B. Ranked among the favourites to win the show, the Spice Girl scored top marks for her paso doble.
