Kara Tointon 'still happy' with Artem

Former EastEnders actress Kara Tointon has revealed that she and dancer Artem Chigvintsev are still together - and still very much a couple.

The pair, who sparked off a romance after they performed together in Strictly Come Dancing in 2010 - going on to win the series - now spend their time between London and Los Angeles, with Kara describing their relationship as 'fantastic'.

"We're really happy and everything's going really well,' the 29-year-old said.

" I don't like saying too much more than that because I always think you jinx things if you talk about them too much. I just like to go with the flow and let life unfold."

Kara - who recently revealed that she nearly quit acting after leaving EastEnders - also revealed she is excited about hitting the big 3-0 later this year.

The actress, who is currently supporting the Galaxy Quick Reads campaign to encourage more people to read, said: "I think it's an age where after kidding yourself you're still a teenager, you suddenly think, 'Hey, what happened? - that must mean I'm an adult'.

"But I'm so happy to be in a place where I'm enjoying the work I'm doing, there's nothing better than that, and I feel comfortable in who I am."
