Kate Garraway has launched an astonishing attack on her rival for the GMTV presenter's job by saying Ulrika Johnson lacks the right skills. The Daily Mirror reports that Kate, who presents the morning breakfast show twice a week, publicly discredited Ulrika at a television awards ceremony after hearing that GMTV producers were considering her for the role. "It's very unlikely she will get the job," said Kate. "She is not a journalist and the job needs someone that has those skills." “Everyone else does,” she added. Kate, who took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2007, has also spoken out against current presenter Fiona Phillips. She said: "It's sad for me that she is leaving, but I think it is good for the company. It is time for a change, time for a shake-up."
