Katie Waissel's 81-year old porn star grandmother has said she doesn't think of herself as 'a prostitute', and vowed to make no more x-rated films. Sheila Vogel spoke out after it emerged she had been offering her services through an online escort agency for two years and starred in an adult movie. The pensioner said: "When my second husband died I was lonely and I answered a few advertisements because I enjoy the company of a man. I had the company of a few men which I thoroughly enjoyed then found an agency on the internet looking for nice ladies like me to do this sort of work. "I never thought thought of myself as being a prostitute. I think of myself as a high-class escort. I am attractive and well-spoken and have travelled around the world and the gentlemen that come to me liked that." She said she had left a message for her granddaughter, currently starring in The X Factor, and hoped she understood what she had done. She said: "I have left Katie a very nice message. I've told her 'I love you very much and whatever you do I love you. I hope you win the X Factor and you get on with your life as I've got on with mine'." Ms Vogel admitted the exposure of her private life had split her family with two of her three daughters - including Katie's mum - refusing to speak to her. She said: "My daughter Josie, her love is unconditional and her son Danny is the same. My niece, nephew and cousin are also remaining supportive of me."
