Pharrell, Britney and Gordon Ramsay audition for C4 spoof Andy Murray: The Movie

Pharrell Williams and Gordon Ramsay audition to play tennis star Andy Murray in a film about his life in a new Channel 4 comedy sketch.

As well, Britney Spears will audition for the part of Andy Murray's real-life girlfriend Kim Sears in the sketch.

According to RadioTimes.com, the stars have taken part in the skit along with Andy for Channel 4's Stand Up To Cancer fundraising telethon.

Screened later this month, it will see IT Crowd actor-turned-film director Richard Ayoade screen-test the celebs for the lead role in Andy Murray: The Movie.

A Channel 4 source was quoted as saying: "It is astonishing that we got all these massive names for a film which really works. It's hilarious."

Ed Sheeran, Michael Sheen, golfer Rory McIlroy, Sir Terry Wogan and footballer Cesc Fabregas will also appear in the sketch.

Stand Up To Cancer will be hosted by Davina McCall and Embarrassing Bodies presenter Dr Christian Jessen on October 17.
