Over the years, Professor Stephen Hawking, Billy Bob Thornton, Stand By Me’s Wil Wheaton, Stan Lee of Marvel Comics, Star Wars stars Carrie Fisher and James Earl Jones and the late Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy have all made appearances.

Hello Ladies star Stephen is reported to be playing a date for Amy (played by Mayim Bialik), the former girlfriend of Sheldon (Jim Parsons).

The Big Bang Theory showrunner Steve Molaro told the Hollywood Reporter of plans to keep the pair, christened 'Shamy' by fans, apart until the time feels right.

“Right now, the dynamic has been fascinating and interesting,” he said. “We’re seeing all new colours for both of them as well as the way it impacts the group. There’s not a set plan — we’re feeling this out along in same way Amy is.”

Lately seen in London’s Wyndham’s Theatre in The Mentalists, Stephen is busy producing cult hit Lip Sync Battle, now screening over here on Channel 5 and digital channel Spike.
