Strictly Come Dancing bosses have ‘shortlisted THREE Royal Family members’ for upcoming series
But who will it be?
Strictly Come Dancing bosses reportedly have their eye on three members of the Royal Family who they hope to sign up for this year’s series.
According to reports, bosses on the hit BBC One show believe 2019 is the year they will finally bag a royal to take part in the show.
And they have set their sights on three members of the family in particular – Zara Phillips, her husband Mike Tindall and Prince Andrew's ex Sarah Ferguson.
Insiders say that thanks to Sophie, Countess of Wessex and her daughter, Lady Louise Windsor appearing in the audience last year, it now seems more likely than ever that a royal could take part.
‘Strictly is a proper family show and hugely respected, so bosses think it wouldn’t be a problem for a royal to take to the dance floor,’ a source told The Sunday Mirror.
They added: ‘The show’s celebrity booker is good pals with Mike.’

They are said to be hoping he will either sign up or convince his wife Zara to appear on the show.
Mike is no stranger to reality TV either as he previously appeared on Channel’s 4 The Jump in 2014.
However, fans of the series will have to wait and see which, if any, royal family member sign’s up.
A Strictly spokesman said: ‘We don’t comment on speculation and the line-up will be announced in due course.’
The new series of Strictly already has one celeb lined up after Chris Evans, confirmed he will be appearing on the show.
Newsreader Huw Edwards and Alan Carr are also rumoured to be appearing after they went down a storm reading out the terms and conditions during last year’s series.
Happy Mondays star Bez, Rylan Clark-Neal and Fearne Cotton have all been reportedly approached to take to the dance floor to win the coveted Glitterball trophy.
