Gabby Logan admitted she's 'gutted' at being kicked off Strictly Come Dancing but is now urging fans to vote for her husband instead. The BBC sports presenter and former international gymnast was hotly tipped to go far in the BBC1's popular pro-celebrity dance contest, but became the fourth celebrity to get the boot after a shock dance-off against Penny Lancaster-Stewart. The judges were furious at having to choose between what they described as 'two of the best dancers in the competition', but eventually decided to eliminate Gabby. Ironically, Gabby's husband Kenny - who has been struggling to master the complex routines - is still in the contest despite scoring far lower marks than his wife. Writing in today's Times, Gabby said: "I didn't believe I had a right to stay by any stretch of the imagination, but I had hoped my journey might last a few weeks more as I was having the time of my life." But despite her disappointment, she adds: "The good news is there is still a Logan to cheer for in our house. "Among the insults the judges have thrown at him are 'Conan the Barbarian', 'a gorilla' and a 'vacuum cleaner' but I've got a funny feeling he might clean up next weekend, and if you are watching, please vote for him - nobody is safe in this game."
